Tell the Media How Youth ChalleNGe
Helped You
As many of you may have noticed, the high school dropout crisis is all over the news lately. To name just a few, Oprah has devoted several shows to the topic, TIME did a major cover story and the Los Angeles Times has produced numerous stories on this national crisis.
However, no one is talking about the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program's tremendous success. You know how great the program is and how it changes the lives of high school dropouts-- now it's time for you to be heard!
The media needs to know about Youth ChalleNGe. Tell them your stories. Graduates, tell them what your life was like before Youth ChalleNGe and what you are doing now. Parents, tell them how Youth ChalleNGe has affected your family life. Mentors, tell them about the rewards of working with at-risk youth for an entire year or more. You need to be heard!
